2. Types of cookies and storage used on Log My Trade

• Technical / necessary cookies: Supabase Auth sets session and refresh cookies to authenticate you, keep you logged in, and secure your account. These cookies are essential for the Service to function.
• localStorage and sessionStorage: Used for UI preferences such as theme, layout, filters, and other per-user settings. These are not cookies but are stored in your browser to improve your experience.
• Matomo (self-hosted, cookie-less): We use Matomo in privacy-first mode: no tracking cookies, IP addresses are anonymized, no user IDs, and no fingerprinting. Analytics are strictly anonymous and do not store identifiers on your device.
• YouTube embeds (privacy-enhanced mode): Videos may be embedded via youtube-nocookie.com. Cookies are set by YouTube only if you choose to play the video.

3. Why we do NOT use a cookie consent banner

We only use technical cookies necessary for authentication and security, and Matomo in a cookie-less, fully anonymized configuration. We do not use profiling, marketing, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Because only essential and strictly necessary technologies are used, no consent banner is required under GDPR and ePrivacy rules.
